Hello! I’m Michelle, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) who brings a lot of real-life experience into the therapy space and I aim to create an environment where you can show up exactly as you are. I have learned that life continues to throw curve balls and sometimes we find ourselves in a place we don't recognize anymore. This can be messy and scary-but you don't have to figure it out alone. That's where I come in.

Authenticity is really important to me, both in how I show up as a therapist and in how I support my clients. I believe that real connection and meaningful change happen when we can be honest, genuine, and fully ourselves in the room. I am committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space for people of all identities and backgrounds.

I’m passionate about trauma-informed care, supporting the LGBTQ+ community and navigating life’s many transitions. I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship changes, co-parenting challenges and emotional trauma.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and person-centered. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) to meet you where you are and support your goals. When life calls for seriousness, I absolutely show up for that, but I also believe humor can be a powerful part of healing. Sometimes laughing at the chaos of life is what helps us move through it. I’m here for all of it—the hard conversations, the tears, the laughter, and yes, even the cursing (I have a bit of a mouth sometimes, and that’s okay here).

Outside of therapy, I’m a mom of three (two almost high schoolers and a toddler) so I understand a thing or two about chaos. I also have two cats and run on a steady supply of coffee.

My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and not alone. I want to help you build insight, feel empowered to make changes, and move toward a sense of peace in your life—whatever that looks like for you.

What I Offer

How I Work

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and person-centered. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to be your authentic self (however that looks) and I strive to create that kind of space in every session.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also work from a trauma-informed lens, always prioritizing safety, trust, and empowerment. Therapy with me is collaborative and shaped around your unique needs. Some days may focus on building practical skills—like managing anxiety, setting boundaries (yes, even with THAT person), or figuring out how to have hard conversations without replaying them in your head at 2am. Other days might be about deeper emotional work, unpacking old patterns, or making sense of your experience in a world that doesn’t always feel like it fits. We’ll take it one step at a time and find what actually works for you.

Who I Work With

I work with children, teens, and adults who feel like life has gotten a bit heavy or complicated. Whether that’s anxiety, depression, emotional trauma, relationship changes, co-parenting stress, or those life transitions that leave you wondering, “How did I end up here?”

Sometimes people also find themselves stuck in patterns they can see but can’t quite break out of yet. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone in it.

I’m especially passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community and creating a space that feels affirming, inclusive, and genuinely safe to be yourself. No matter where you are in your story, you deserve to feel seen, respected, and supported, not judged or dismissed.

What It's Like To Work Together

In our work together, you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. I value authenticity and show up as a real person in the room, which means we can have hard conversations, sit with difficult emotions, and still find plenty of moments of lightness along the way.

I believe humor is part of healing. Sometimes laughter is what helps take the edge off when things feel overwhelming. And sometimes, it’s laughing because life is a little absurd. At the same time, I’ll meet you in the seriousness of what you’re going through when that’s what you need.

My goal is for you to feel safe, validated, and empowered. Together, we’ll build insight, develop practical skills, and help you feel more grounded, clear, and at peace (or at least a little less like everything is on fire).

Therapy with me is meaningful but not overly formal. I’ll likely be barefoot, fueled by a steady stream of coffee in my Dunder Mifflin mug (I'm a big Office fan), with a cat occasionally making a guest appearance or walking across something important. If you’re looking for honest conversation, practical support, and a space where you can be fully yourself (awkward moments and all), I’d love to connect. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
